Konami, in association with Cartoon Network, has announced that Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is now available for download on Nintendo WiiWare.
In this latest installment in the Ben 10 game franchise, players once again assume the role of Ben Tennyson, as he is challenged once again to protect the world from evil. Players will have the ability to transform into 10 different aliens (vSwampfire, Brainstorm, Big Chill, Humungousaur, Echo Echo, Chromastone, Jetray, Spider Monkey, Goop and Lodestar). This is achieved via Ben’s Omnitrix, and by transforming, players will be able to overcome the challenges and puzzles found throughout the game’s 15 levels using the specific abilities and strengths of each alien type.
“The ‘Ben 10′ franchise has already seen tremendous success through multiple console titles, but we wanted to offer consumers an all-new interactive game in the growing downloadable gaming space,” said Careen Yapp, VP Acquisitions and Franchise Development for Konami, via a company press release. “By incorporating new content, characters and a rich action-adventure storyline from the series into Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex, we hope to provide fans and newcomers an unparalleled Ben 10 experience.”
