For those that want to take a break from their farms or booming mafia empires, there’s Wild Ones, a turn-based shoot-em-up from the folks at Playdom, which resembles the gameplay of Worms and features a series of heavily armed animals (your default animal is a dog) and combat against real-life opponents.

As this gameplay type might be a bit weird to someone who’s only real gaming experience has been limited to growing crops or feeding pets, Games.com has a guide for beginners (or even established users) containing tips to help you be all that you can be in-game.

Here’s a sample from the guide:

Tip #3 Do not pet the animals: Standing too close to your opponent is never a good idea. In this turn-based game, it will eventually be another player’s turn, and that gives them more opportunity to put the hurt on you. Also, avoid being surrounded by enemies.

Be sure to read the full guide for more tips on how to become the wildest one of the bunch.
