iPhone, Mobile

We’ve seen zombies, and their killers, in multiple forms but rednecks add a new spin to the undead. TriplePoint client Frozen Giant, an independent iPhone game development studio, pits rednecks against former-redneck zombies in Tucker Ray In: Rednecks vs. Zombies. The game follows namesake Tucker Ray, a lovable trailer park inhabitant, as he fights to rescue his sweetheart Bobby Sue from the zombie menace. Tucker is armed with a shotgun and unlimited ammo, and occasionally a monster squirrel cannon (yep, it launches exploding squirrels). Fight your way through three big levels, battling zombies and collecting power-ups, to the ultimate boss fight against Undead Betty.

Co-founder of Frozen Giant Joseph Walters says, “Zombies love brains – that’s a universal fact. So it’s a bit ironic that these zombies have risen in a place where, frankly, there aren’t a lot of brains to be found.” You can download TRI:RVZ here for $1.99 and help Tucker Ray traverse the infested land, rescue his trailer park princess, and conquer the undead horde.
