An upcoming rhythm game from UK-based Tag Games and Mobile Pie would like to know: Are you being served? B-Boy Beats, an iPhone breakdancing game which “promises to make a mockery of other weak-wristed iPhone music games,” is scheduled to launch on February 14th, and will feature the hip-hop stylings of MC Frontalot in its 17 track lineup.
The inclusion of nerdcore’s top artist is noteworthy alone, but B-Boy Beats’ gameplay looks to break the usual tap-to-the-rhythm mold. According to a press release and trailer, players will have to keep their fingers on the screen and use them as surrogate legs, actually “dancing” with their digits and executing hand-based breakdance moves. All of this will take place to a soundtrack including Frontalot, as well as Optimus Rhyme, Id Obelus, Ultraklystron, Rai, and Magitek.
Witness the serving for yourself:
B-Boy Beats is expected to launch on February 14th for $2.99.
