You never walk away from the table when you’re on a winning streak — not even if that table is up in the sky somehow. You may recall the last time we discussed Sky Gamblers from Atypical Games (a TriplePoint client), they were definitely enjoying a win: Sky Gamblers: Storm Raiders had just won the prestigious Apple Design Award at WWDC. Needless to say, Atypical is letting it ride (in the cockpit) with an all-new Sky Gamblers title, and has announced that Sky Gamblers: Cold War is out now on the App Store. New planes, new missions, and new locales are all in your sights for this latest outing, which you can grab for $4.99 here.

From the press release:

Coming on the heels of its Apple Design Award-winning predecessor, Sky Gamblers: Storm RaidersCold War presents the next evolution in flight-simulation games with fully re-created cities such as those in Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, and Siberia, realistic weather effects for a more authentic challenge, and interactive cockpits for the most hands-on experience. Weapons have been rebalanced to provide a faithful recreation of early jet history experience. The game also expands on the single player campaign providing diverse missions including classic dogfights, high altitude surveillance, and controlling laser-guided missiles. And in full Sky Gambling finesse,Cold War boasts console-quality graphics and a fully orchestrated soundtrack.

Graphics buffs will also be happy to hear that Sky Gamblers: Cold War is compatible with Apple TV and AirPlay for enjoying the spectacle on a big screen.

Here’s some of the spectacle right now, in fact!
