AT&T Insurance Coming For iPhones

iPhone, Mobile

MediaBistro and BoyGeniusReport are reporting that AT&T is looking to sell its own insurance for the iPhone soon. The new insurance will cost reportedly $13.99 a month with a deductible up to $200. Using that base insurance price, MediaBistro did the math and figured that one year of insurance will cost $167.88 and can save you $332 if you make a claim in a year.

The whole idea of phone insurance depends on how much the phone costs and the cost of the insurance. MediaBistro believes that the iPhone insurance will not be a no-brainer purchase because of the deductible, and would prefer a no-deductible option.
