Mobile, iPhone

If you love the world of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed II but have always wished for a multiplayer mode with which to play with your friends, I hope you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, because that very outcome has come to pass with Assassin’s Creed II: Multiplayer, which, according to Touch Arcade, is now available, for free, on the App Store, but only for 48 hours.

Assassin’s Creed II: Multiplayer sees you matched with other players online, where you’re asked to find your assassination target, and tap on them to kill them. You’ll be able to pick out your targets by observing the casual civilians throughout the town, as targets will be in locations they normally wouldn’t be, or will likely be behaving irregularly. Furthermore, you too must try to blend in with the civilians surrounding you, as to blend in as much as possible.

The game comes with power-ups, leaderboards, and the ability to add friends for easy pairing. All of this will be available for $2.99 after this initial promotional period, so be sure to save yourself the money and download the game for free while you still can. Assassin's Creed II: Multiplayer
