Casual, Events, Industry, iPad, iPhone, Mobile

Five years old is such a precocious age. That’s how old the Apple App Store is this week (where does the time go?), and as indicated by various parenting guides, our wonderful little five-year-old platform is indeed a “creative and enthusiastic problem solver” with its myriad productivity apps, and it most certainly “abounds with energy and seeks active games and environments!” Best of all, to celebrate this milestone, a big selection of the App Store’s greatest hits has been made free to download, meaning you can score titles like Tiny Wings, Sword & Sworcery, and Where’s My Water? at no cost.

There’s a list over at Tech Tola, being updated as more free titles appear, of everything you can claim during the App Store celebration. Happy fifth birthday, kiddo!
