Android, Casual, Mobile, Puzzle

Happy Easter, Droids! Today’s edition of AndroidAppADay involves the realm that we all know and love: gaming. The featured app today is Bonsai Blast from Glu Mobile. Bonsai Blast is very similar to the popular casual game Zuma. The object is to match colored balls into groups of 3 or more until you meet the score requirement. When 3 or more balls are matched, the group explodes scoring you points and valuable space to survive.

During gameplay, the balls reach closer and closer to the Ying Yang space on the board. If any of the balls reaches the Ying Yang space, the game is over. If you hit the score requirement, you move on to the next level which will be progressively harder than the last. The levels are heavily varied and lean on the tricky side once in a while.

As a free game, Bonsai Blast offers a lot of awesome content. There are three main stages and at least 15 levels per stage so there is definitely a lot of content here.

Bonsai Blast is currently available on the Android Market. There is also a paid version for 99¢ that will remove the ads from the game. Don’t forget to follow @AndroidAppADay on twitter for easy access to the daily update!
