Android, Mobile

As reported by Industry Gamers, Android users will be seeing the release of quite a few games from Oberon through its I-play business.

I-play is set to offer games from the Fast & Furious, Deal or No Deal, and Bubble Town franchises, among many others. There’s a full line-up of games coming from Oberon, who made note that “I-play has strong relationships with the same wireless carriers, handset manufacturers and distribution partners as Android, which enables them to maximize the value for the consumer.”

“We will be ramping up our focus on the Smartphone market in 2010, especially on Android,” says Keith Adair, Global VP Sales & Marketing, Mobile at I-play. “This promising platform has a potential for a wide reach and a user-friendly, high-quality, socially-connected gaming experience, that will ensure that the Android market continues to grow for a very long time.”

Looks like the iPhone and the App Store may be getting some appreciated competition after all.
