Wikipedia is going to have a terrible time trying to list this particular pantheon. TriplePoint client Bolt Creative has issued a celebratory statement regarding their runaway iPhone hit, Pocket God: The game has now been downloaded over 2,000,000 times from the App Store, becoming the first paid app in iPhone history to do so.
In a press release, Bolt Creative CEO Dave Castelnuovo remarked, “We couldn’t be happier with the turnout we’ve seen at the island. The community has been absolutely incredible embracing this game. From the thousands of YouTube videos to the homemade Halloween costumes to the valuable user feedback we’ve received, we can’t thank our community enough for our success.”
Castelnuovo then proceeded to sacrifice the population of a tiny island with sharks and bats in order to ensure the game’s future success.
