iPad, iPhone, Mobile

Mobile developers have been hard at work on existing titles, as well as new titles and we’ve got you covered on the latest news for these developments. Today, we have the announcement from Halfbrick on their latest game coming soon to the App Store in Age of Zombies and the announcement from Eyedip about Flight Doodle HD’s latest updates.

Age of Zombies Announced

From the creators of the popular iPhone hits Fruit Ninja and Monster Dash, Halfbrick is announcing Age of Zombies starring Barry Steakfries.

The game’s narrative revolves around the evil Professor Brains and his plot to destroy mankind by sending his army of zombies out to wreak havoc and chaos. Wielded with his trusty shotgun, Barry must save the world and make it home in time for dinner.

Blasting your way through five different worlds is the objective, and the levels will feature such enemies as cavemen, mummies, ninjas, and a Zombie T-Rex. Originally a PlayStation Minis title, Age of Zombies for iOS will have updated graphics, intuitive touch control and tutorials. For all those iPad owners out there, the game will be universal as well.

Age of Zombies is set for release in October 2010. We’ll let you know more about this game as more information becomes available.

Flight Doodle HD Receives Two New Mini-Games

In Flight Doodle HD’s latest update, you can now handle two new mini-games known as Battlecraft and Survival.

In Battlecraft, the idea is that “balloons are armed with explosives and players engage in aerial fire-fights with deadly enemy balloons,” In Survival, you must “collect as many boost power-ups as possible to gain altitude and reach new heights. Customized hot-air balloons are available in all four game modes.”

“We love providing our fans with tons of new content and so far we’ve added an average of one new mini-game per week to Flight Doodle HD” says Steven Fleisher, co-founder of Eyedip. “We’ve also added back-end features that will let us run an awesome balloon art contest, and we’re super excited about a top secret theme we’re unveiling next month!”

To help celebrate the new updates, Eyedip has discounted the price of Flight Doodle HD down to just 99¢ through Sunday. You may download Flight Doodle HD from the App Store right now.
