Happy Pets, Social

CrowdStar’s Happy Pets has updated with two interesting additions this week, first in the form of a new lost animal, the Honey Parrot, and second, the creation of a “random cat” feature that will allow you to create a random, multi-colored cat in the game’s store.

Won’t You Adopt the Orphaned Honey Parrot?

A new adoptable pet has been spotted in Happy Pets, and it comes in the form of an orphaned Honey Parrot.

For those unfamiliar with the way lost pets work in Happy Pets, you’ll randomly come across the Honey Parrot as you play the game, and will be able to either ignore the lost animal, thus ending the event, or help it by posting your discovery to your wall in the form of a news item that your friends can click on to claim the Honey Parrot for themselves.

To be especially clear, the only way that you yourself can get ahold of a Honey Parrot to keep is by having a friend post their own discovery of a lost parrot so that you can adopt it. Be sure to keep an eye out for such postings in your news feed in the future so you can adopt one of these cute birds.

Generate A Random Cat in the Game’s Store

CrowdStar has a simple solution to the problem of too many identical pets, and it comes in the form of a Random Cat generator. The Random Cat will forever be known as such, even after you purchase it, but in order to create it, you’ll first have to take a trip to the game’s store.

Click on the Random Cat’s silhouette, and you’ll be taken to the customization page for that cat, just as you would be for any other pet in the game. The catch here is that each and every time you click on the picture, a new multi-colored colore scheme will be placed on the cat, giving you apparently limitless options for what your cat could look like.

Once you find the color scheme that you’d like to purchase, you can give the cat a name and choose its gender before purchasing it for 150 Facebook Credits, or the equivalent of $15 US. Remember, if you give it a second thought, and close out the window, that color scheme will be gone – so think long and hard before doing so!

Here are a couple of examples of what these random cats could look like. Head over to the game’s page on Facebook to create your own.
