Foursquare may have become synonymous with the “check-in” concept on the iPhone, but users have been limited in the ways they can share information by not being able to share videos and photos… until now.

A new app called SquarePik allows users to login using their foursquare information and add photos and videos to their checked-in locations. There are two methods via which users can add photos: you can either add one directly from your iPhone library (that is, a previously stored picture), or you can capture a photo or video from within the app proper.

According to Mashable, the app unfortunately won’t allow you to search within nearby places, so you’ll have to scroll through a list of possible locations, but hopefully this will be fixed in a possible future update.
