A Fever with Runs is a Good Thing

Arcade, Casual, Contests, Credits, Facebook, Social

Did you know that 9Fruits can give you the runs? It has nothing to do with how sensitive your stomach is. 9Fruits, a TriplePoint client, has given the world Running Fever, a new social sprinting game available today on Facebook. In celebration of the Olympic Games, players of Running Fever can compete in action-type gameplay to outrace their friends and, with luck, not be struck by lightning. Seriously, that’s a problem runners will have in this game. Can you outrun lightning? If you can, there’s a chance you can win a Galaxy S3.

From the press release:

Starting today, Running Fever players will have the chance to compete for premium prizes. Any new athletes who sign in to play the game between now and August 25th, 2012, will be entered to win $10 in Facebook Credits; 100 players will be selected to win at random. In addition, top runners will have a shot at the grand prize: the player who turns in the top time on a designated event map will take home a Galaxy S3 from Samsung, with runners-up winning hundreds of dollars in Facebook Credits.

So there’s that. I would go get on your mark, if I were you.
