Casual, Social

Nexon America, who is famous for creating several free to play online games, has decided to invest $1 million in funding the creation of games from indie developers. The title of the new venture is Nexon iNitiative and each title will be put through Nexon’s traditional model of sponsoring, development and publishing through their own distribution network.

It seems that games focused on online gaming will take priority, while other types of games are being considered. The vice president of business development Won Il Sue remarked on the venture saying, It doesn’t matter who you are, if you’ve got a great idea, we want to hear from you. We’re ready to fund, develop and publish the best of the best through our massive worldwide network.”
